Josh texted me today to let me know that he felt left out that his photo didn't make the last blog post. Truth of the matter is that none of his photos really turned out that well... but to make him happy, here's the best of the bunch.
Tattooed this fun little one shot today on Matt

Jon saved the day today by filling a cancellation I had. Coloured a lot of blue in a short period of time.
And then tonight, Teagan, Justin and myself had a amazing night of stuffed pretzels and beers. Double smoked shoulder bacon, and dutch edam stuffed pretzels to be exact. Good times.

Josh and Kathy are in town for a couple days. Finished most of the background on his arm today. One more session to go...
Added bonus was getting healed pictures of Kathy's flowers.

Another one done. Finished the big turtle and a few odds and ends on Stephen's underwater sleeve. Just a few small touch ups and healed photos in about a month to call this one 100% completed.

Heidi is in from Vancouver for a wedding this weekend, and it's pretty awesome she made a bit of time to come in and finish off her leg today.

Put a few more hours into Blake's underwater sleeve today. When I outlined the tattoo, I had left an empty space that still needed to be filled. This eel seemed to fit nicely.

Got a lot more done on Blake's sleeve today than this one photo will show. We actually worked for about 5 hours colouring extremely detailed texture on multiple fish, and these sea turtles. Unfortunately, this was the only photo of about 20 taken that was blog worthy....

I have to work on a few drawings tonight, so no time for chit chat. Down to buisness-
Blake's underwater sleeve to start the day. Background blue all morning
Second appointment was colouring a couple of Cara's flowers. These were super fun and Cara is super awesome.

First appointment today was working on Sean's underwater sleeve. I coloured the background and a few yellow fish on the inside of his arm as well as this orange fish on the back of his arm. One more session of colour and a few touch ups and we'll be done. He also bought the last Amsterdam print today, so they're officially all gone now. Thanks Sean!
Second appointment today was working on Lucas' sleeve. I finished up most of the water today by colouring in this large section on his elbow. He as well is nearing completion on his sleeve.

Elbow day today at the studio which is never a fun day for myself or the client. Elbows are my least favorite part of doing a sleeve, I know it really hurts the client yet I know it's an area that can't rushed. I usually prefer to slow down a bit and make sure it's in there so I don't have many touch ups if at all possible.
Dan's sleeve is coming together quickly now and we should be done everything including touch ups in one or at most two more sessions. It's always awesome when a small area gets filled and changes the tattoo completely. We maybe tattooed for 3hrs today and that small section made the tattoo look so much more full and complete. Really exciting when that happens.
I also worked on my friend Adam's lower half sleeve today, but didn't get any good photos. Way too shinny, but that's okay. His tattoo is so ridiculously crazy that I'm going to wait until it's completely finished to post photos.

Worked on Sean's sleeve today. First colour session is always exciting, especially when you can get a bunch done in a day. He sat for 4 hrs or so. Coloured a bunch of blue background, a few fish, and the head of the octopus.
Also, it's only 2 episodes in, but this show is amazing. Can't get enough of it.

So my camera must have heard through the grapevine somehow that I was speaking ill of it on the blog... because today it revolted.
It would seem that the battery is dead. I tried charging it 3 times, and it allowed me to take this one and only photo of Stephen's under water sleeve.
Too bad, he sat for 6hrs today, most of which was colouring blue background. This fish was tattooed last session, so it's healed. The background around it is all fresh though...
